Opening Week 2008-09 will be the week of August 25th.
The tenative schedule for Opening Week 2008-09 is as follows: Monday, August 25: In-school sessions/preparation until 3:00 p.m. followed by a district-wide all-staff voluntary picnic at Harriet Island. Further information about the picnic, including sponsors and parking, will be available on this page in early August. Tuesday, August 26: District-wide meetings/professional development sessions. Wednesday, August 27: District-wide meetings/professional development sessions. Thursday, August 28: Guided in-school professional development sessions. Friday, August 29: In-school sessions/preparation.
The full Opening Week calendar will be available by August 4 and will be available on this Web site.
The deadline for submitting an Opening Week workship proposal was Thursday, May 15th. Proposals are no longer being accepted.
